Allen & York are currently working with a Sustainability Consultancy in the South London Region who are currently looking to appoint a Breeam Specialist to expand its team delivering services to private and public housing organisations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Undertake BREEAM multi-residential (and other) assessments
- Training of none qualified staff in BREEAM
- Undertake SAP calculations and production of EPC
- Carry out EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments
- Delivering of energy strategy assessments and reports recommending the most appropriate approach to clients
- Promotion of the teams consultancy services to housing professionals
- Contribution to strategy for growth of client base and consultancy income
- Development of relationships and provision of support to housing associations, developers, architects, specialist contractors.
- Providing ad-hoc consulting support to housing professionals
Person Specification
- Experience of delivering BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment to PCR stage
- Experience of Code for Sustainable Homes and / or EcoHomes
- Experience of SAP
- Experience of undertaking energy appraisals of new and or existing properties
- Knowledge of the renewable technologies suitable for building integration
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
- Patience and ability in dealing with members of the public
