CHP Maintenance Engineer

CHP Engineer - London - Plus Van
Our client is currently recruiting for two CHP Engineers in London for a number of prestigious long term energy supply contracts. These contracts involve the supply of heat, chilled water and electricity to a range of consumers and high profile sites.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in this field and the relevant industry qualifications. A good understanding of operations and maintenance, gas fired reciprocating engine Combined Heat and Power systems/boiler plant and distribution systems on a commercial/industrial level is required.
There are a number of key outputs for the successful candidate to deliver, including:-
Reactive and Planned Maintenance
- Carry out the defined CHP planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations
- Carryout relevant CHP ?Condition Based? Maintenance tasks in line with the Manufacturers specification.
- Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on associated plant
- Attend, diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment
- Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently
Person Specification
- A relevant technical qualification - which must include commercial gas
- Experience of CHP and boiler plant
- Experience of working on MTHW systems and steam systems and boiler maintenance
- Understanding of CHP systems, and knowledge of any associated controls e.g EMU and BMS monitoring / control networks.
- Fault-finding and practical skills
- Able to work unsupervised and function as part of a team
- Driving Licence essential
