Senior European EHS Manager

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an award winning global organisation involved in the design, supply and manufacture of building products to a wide cross section of industry. The company has a presence in over 30 countries globally and is demonstrating continued growth across all operating divisions.
This newly created role reports to the VP Global EH&S and will act as a strategic leader for all operations throughout Europe providing overall direction, functional excellence and proactive leadership.
Driving the appointment of this role is the ongoing desire of the company to maintain and improve its existing high standards of EHS globally and continue to strengthen the culture of ownership throughout the business.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a dynamic and proactive attitude towards the development of robust EHS management systems and will have had previous experience within a European organisation preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Self motivated and able to work independently it is essential that candidates have a track record of building strong professional relationships and influencing key stakeholders across a culturally and geographically diverse business.
It is required that candidates be appropriately qualified to degree level or carry Chartered Membership of IOSH and be flexible for regular travel mainly within Europe but also further afield on occasions.
