A leading organisation is currently seeking a New Head of Business Development for the Total Waste Management arm of the business. Whilst the business is involved in securing TWM contracts, a large part of their business is Hazardous waste.
The ideal candidate will have well rounded commercial experience including:
- Strategic business development through the formal tender process
- Bid management
- Secure high value contracts from Blue chip clients
- Client Account Management with strong track record of client retention through fostering excellent client relationships.
- Expansion of new product lines
- Contract negotiation
- Supplier management
- Company acquisitions or the ability to identify potential targets
- Ability to execute a commercial business plan
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong Hazardous Waste background and preferably a Chemistry degree. A valid drivers license is essential as the role requires national travel.
